Janelle Murphey
Janelle Murphey is a legal Assistant and soon-to-be certified paralegal from American River College. She has a background as a touring standup comedian and actress and now provides legal assistance to The Law Offices of Dale R. Gomes.
Janelle was born and raised in Roseville, CA before moving to Chicago, IL in 2014 and studying at The Second City Theatre and The Annoyance Theatre. While in Chicago, Janelle produced Highly Recommended, a comedy variety show at The World-Famous Chicago Laugh Factory. She was published in the Chicago Tribune for Zanies 40th anniversary show “40 Comics in 1 Night”, before moving to New York City in October 2019 and studying at The Pitt Theatre with just enough time to appreciate the Big Apple before a global pandemic hit causing her to seek refuge back in California.
Janelle’s mission in law is to help clients seek justice and provide a spark of light in dark times by combining her passion for writing, humor, and the law.
